Kusthotellet Styrsö

Kusthotellet on the island of Styrsö, located in Gothenburg’s southern archipelago, is set to open in late summer 2025. We aim to work actively with sustainability and environmentally friendly initiatives.

Some aspects of our sustainability efforts include:

We will implement energy-efficient solutions and develop smart systems to reduce energy consumption. We also aim to minimize water use and waste through recycling and composting.

As far as possible, given our location, the hotel will focus on using locally produced and organic ingredients in the restaurant. This helps reduce transport emissions and supports local producers.

Since Kusthotellet is located on an island with very limited car traffic, guests and visitors are naturally encouraged to use public transport.

By providing training for both staff and guests on sustainability and environmentally friendly practices, we hope to raise awareness of the importance of protecting our nature.
