Kurorten Mösseberg

Kurorten Mösseberg has been a Nordic Swan Ecolabelled business since 2010. We’re extremely proud of that fact, and it means that our guests support our work to be an increasingly environmentally friendly hotel, spa and conference venue. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel signifies an active environmental focus in which we continually monitor our use of energy, water, cleaning products, consumables and our combustible waste. Every year we set new environmental goals to minimise our use of resources and our impact on the environment. Among other things this includes using renewable electricity, sorting our waste, and using eco-labelled products as much as possible for laundry, cleaning, washing up, sanitary goods, tissue paper and furnishings.

We use an organic skin care range called Maria Åkerberg in our spa, which is Swedish made with natural ingredients that care for people and their skin. Our conference guests use eco-labelled note pads, white board pens and flipcharts.

No single use items are used in our restaurant, and our range of locally produced, organic and Fairtrade products is increasing. Guests in our hotel can contribute to our joint responsibility for a cleaner environment in several ways. They can, for instance, choose to use towels and dressing gowns an extra day, throw plastic mugs in the recycling bin, leave empty batteries in reception and switch off lamps and TVs when they are not in the room.
