At Hav & Logi we protect the beautiful environment we are in and work continuously to become more sustainable in the future. To keep water consumption down, we have water saving toilets and self-closing taps in our service house and our family houses.

In several family houses, in our conference facility, and in the hostel, we have installed fan heaters that keep electricity consumption down.

We take care to use cleaning agents that are environmentally certified. Rikstvätt Bengtsfors takes care of our bedding, and they meet Nordic Swan Eco-Label environmental standards for energy and water consumption, chemicals, waste management, and packaging, as well as for their own goods.

As far as possible we hire people from the local area, this benefits the community and reduces the impact of trips to and from work. We also collaborate with local businesses.

To encourage a reduction in car traffic on Tjörn, we offer bicycle rental to our guests and other visitors so that they can leave the car behind and get around our beautiful island in an environmentally friendly way. We also promote the bus stop right outside our entrance.
