Smögens Kajakäventyr

We are primarily a rental company for kayaks and SUPs, but also run tours and courses in kayaking. For us, it goes without saying that we should protect our beautiful nature and take care of our oceans, and obviously we think about this in our work.
The public right of access is an amazing feature of Swedish land use and also something we must protect. We include knowledge of public rights in our basic course, we inform our customers about the golden rule ‘Do not disturb & do not destroy’ and we pick up litter on our tours.

On our website, we have an interactive map that customers can use as support for navigation where, among other things, natural and cultural sites are indicated. It is very easy to identify nature reserves, nature conservation areas, bird protection areas, etc.

Transport is also an important part of our sustainability work. On our website we describe how you can get to us in a sustainable way by bus, or by hiking and cycling trails, with links to Västtrafik’s travel planner and maps from Sotenäs municipality. When we must use transport, we think of shared transport. We order new kayaks in good time so that they can be delivered when the supplier has other business in our area.

Sustainable society is also important to us, and our first choice is always to cooperate with local suppliers who have quality and eco-labelling.
