Kosterhavets Nationalpark/Länsstyrelsen i Västra Götaland

Sustainability is central to our mission as custodian of the Kosterhavet Marine National Park and neighbouring nature reserve. We work for sustainable use in harmony with the conservation goals of natural environments and species, above and below the water.

Outdoor life and educational tourism are also important. Through our natural history centre, Naturum, we share knowledge, and we support outdoor life through the establishment of hiking trails and outdoor facilities.

We also act as a network motivator for stakeholders in the Kosterhavet area. We are engaged in constant dialogue and organise two network meetings per year.

There is a partnership agreement between the national park and individual stakeholders – this encourages alignment with the objectives of the Kosterhavet Marine National Park and promotes sustainable development in the area.
