Through a variety of food and nature experiences, I aim to inspire long-term choices for healthier oceans by letting my guests experience them firsthand. By engaging all the senses; feeling the seaweed, discovering the herbs along the shore, and exploring what we call the food of the future from the sea, I hope to create a connection and understanding of the ocean and its inhabitants that encourages us to take better care of our seas.
Let me show you how to harvest seaweed in ways that do not disturb or damage the ecosystems. You can learn to cook sustainable seafood such as seaweed, mussels, oysters, herring, and sea squirts, or simply enjoy a ready-made meal in a beautiful setting.
Algblomman’s activities can easily be tailored to your wishes, offering exciting experiences suitable for all ages, including private individuals, groups, and companies.
Meals are prepared as much as possible with seasonal and sustainable ingredients, and maintaining a close relationship with local food producers and artisans is central to everything Algblomman does.
All activities are planned and carried out according to the rhythms of the sea, in close collaboration with local partners who uphold high sustainability standards in areas such as transport, facilities, and accommodation.
