

Kläpphagen
Kläpphagen is a boutique B&B with a restaurant and bar, a farm shop, a brewery, and glamping. We opened on May 15, 2023.
The food we serve is cooked over an open fire. We work closely with local suppliers such as fishermen, Kosterlamm, Ostrea on South Koster, Glada Grisar, and many others. Our menu changes with the seasons, and if our local suppliers cannot provide, for example, lamb, we source another delicious ingredient from the local area.
We are open from mid-March to mid-December and employ around 25 people throughout the year.
Kläpphagen is located on the beautiful Koster Islands, and thanks to this unique setting, it is very important to us to work for a better environment and to leave as small an ecological footprint as possible. We aim to be a good example of how a restaurant and hotel can be run while taking care of nature. Sustainability is not only important for the planet but also contributes to a healthy economy.
As we actively focus on environmental issues, we kindly ask our guests to help us by avoiding unnecessary water use and not requesting towel or linen changes unless needed.
