Isbolaget

At Isbolaget we buy eco-labelled goods as far as our budget allows and, of course, we sort our waste. We are also about to launch new conference facilities with the idea that this additional business stream will help fill the hotel during our quieter periods in autumn, spring, and winter. This investment means that we can give a job to one more person in the restaurant and bring more business to the island in general.

We provide local employment and most of our permanent employees live on Donsö. In addition, about 70 percent of the additional or seasonal team are from the island or the surrounding area. When we buy raw materials and engage other services, we try to source these locally as much as possible. We always recommend other local companies to our guests and collaborate with local activity providers such as rib boat tours, team building, and yoga.
