At Hotel Bogesund we have a notice in all rooms giving guests the opportunity to opt out of the daily room cleaning. There are also signs inviting guests to reuse their towels.

At the breakfast buffet, we encourage guests to take as much as they want but to throw away as little as possible. This helps to reduce food waste. We also make use of food from the buffet that would otherwise go to waste. For example, we dry fruit and berries for our own muesli, make smoothies, marmalade and jam. Leftover bread becomes breadcrumbs.

As far as possible we support our local businesses, for example by buying bread from the local bakery and beer from local breweries.
